Steve Yzerman used this Louisville TPS stick in games and/or practices for the Detroit Red Wings between 1988 and 1991.
Yzerman began using Louisville sticks in the 1988-89 season, and this sticks graphics are consistent with those used through 1990-91.
Yzerman broke into the NHL with a 39-goal, 48 assist season and went on to tally 50+ goals five times and a total of 692 goals with 1,063 assists in 22 NHL seasons (1,514 games). His six-year run of 100+ point seasons from 1987-88 to 1992-93 saw him score 732 points (331 goals, 401 assists) in 466 games. A three-time Cup winner and the 1998 Conn Smythe Trophy winner, Yzerman ranks seventh all-time in career points with 1,755.
The stick will include a MeiGray Letter of Authenticity.
