Howard scored 16 regular season goals during her debut Premier Hockey Federation campaign, finishing third in the league, and also finished fifth in the league with 26 points. She posted four multi-goal games, was constantly one of the league's most entertaining players to watch and was perhaps its deadliest finisher.

The Six finished second in the league with a 19-4-1 regular season record. In the Isobel Cup Semiifnals, they came back from a 1-0 series deficit after losing Game 1 to the Connecticut Whale in captivating fashion. Emma Woods' game-winning goal in overtime in Game 2 kept the team's season alive. After a 3-0 victory in Game 3, the Six defeated the upstart Minnesota Whitecaps in the 2023 Isobel Cup Final in a see-saw battle punctuated by Tereza Vanisova's overtime snipe.
