Tony Amonte wore this white Cosby mesh jersey while playing for the New York Rangers during the 1992-93 National Hockey League season. It is photo-matched to the 1993-94 The Leaf Set Series One #17 card, based on the marks on the left sleeve.

This jersey exhibits exceptional wear, with 11 team repairs on the left sleeve and 12 team repairs on the right sleeve. The front shows significant exterior pilling, and there is also a large cluster of team repairs where the white right sleeve fabric meets the blue shoulder fabric.

Amonte scored 76 points for the Rangers in his second NHL season in 1992-93, at the age of 22 (33 goals, 43 assists). The assists total was a career high, as he came off an All-Rookie First Team selection in 1991-92.

Amonte was traded 72 games into the following season to the Chicago Blackhawks, where he scored 268 of his 416 career goals. In his 15-year career, Amonte played in 1,174 games, totaling 484 assists and 900 points. Amonte was just as much a hero internationally as he was in the NHL, winning the gold medal for the United States in the 1996 World Cup of Hockey Tournament and scoring the game-winning goal in the final against Team Canada. He also won a silver medal at the 2002 Salt Lake City Winter Olympics.
