Robertson scored 49 goals with 99 assists in 442 games over 10 seasons, 326 of which came with the Whalers. The 1989-90 season was his second-to-last in the NHL. He scored two goals with four assists in 27 games for the Whalers prior to being traded to the Detroit Red Wings for Jim Pavese.
