William Nylander wore this black alternate jersey while playing for the Toronto Maple Leafs during the 2022-23 National Hockey League season. Nylander's breakout came later than the rest of the Leafs' youth movement of the late 2010s, but he became another point-per-game player with 80 points in 2021-22, 87 in 2022-23, and 98 points in 2023-24. He also scored 40 goals in the last two of those seasons. This black Leafs jersey came with much fanfare as the first reversible NHL jersey, designed in collaboration with Toronto native Justin Bieber. On the blue-accented side, shibori-inspired print on the sleeves also subtly incorporates the Toronto skyline. The gold-trimmed side, designed with influence from Drew House, features a variant of the Leafs' crest with gold sleeve stripes. The Leafs wore this style with the blue accents showing on October 29, 2022 and December 22, 2022. The jersey will include a Maple Leafs Letter of Authenticity.
