Eric Lindros wore this red helmet while playing for Team Canada during the 1992 Winter Olympics in Albertville, France. The helmet is video-matched to the Gold Medal Game on February 23, 1992, a 3-1 Unified Team victory over Team Canada. Lindros is seen on the bench in the first period, with a horizontal black mark on the "M" of the CCM logo on the right side of his helmet. This helmet is also photo-matched to two games: Team Canada's 5-1 First Round victory over Czechoslovakia on February 14, 1992 at Meribel Ice Palace in Meribel, France via Getty Images #1268066, which depicts Lindros on the bench. It is photo-matched to Team Canada's 4-3 victory over Germany in the Quarterfinals on February 18, 1992 via an image from the Canadian Olympics Archive. Team Canada won the Silver Medal, defeating Germany, 4-3, in the Quarterfinals and Czechoslovakia, 4-2 in the Semifinals before falling to the CIS Unified Team, 3-1 in the Gold Medal game on February 23, 1992. The Silver Medal in the Albertville Winter Olympics was one of two medals Lindros won for Team Canada, also winning Gold at the 2002 Salt Lake City Winter Games. Lindros scored five goals with six assists in eight games during the 1992 Winter Olympics. During his senior international career, he scored 25 goals with 20 assists in 44 games. The Hockey Hall of Famer scored 372 goals with 493 assists in 13 NHL seasons, most of which came with the Philadelphia Flyers. He made his NHL debut the same year as the 1992 Winter Olympics, scoring 41 goals with 34 assists, a +28 rating and 147 penalty minutes in 61 games as a 19-year-old for the Flyers. Lindros went on to win the Hart Memorial Trophy two seasons later. The helmet will include a MeiGray Vintage Letter of Authenticity and a Classic Auctions Letter of Authenticity signed by Lindros.
