Kaapo Kakko wore this navy Reverse Retro jersey while playing for the New York Rangers during the 2020-21 National Hockey League season. The jersey is photo-matched to the Rangers' 4-2 victory over the Washington Capitals on February 4, 2021 and their 2-0 loss to the New York Islanders on February 8, 2021. Both games were played at Madison Square Garden in New York, NY. Kakko had one assist and was +2 in the game against the Capitals. Kakko scored nine goals with eight assists in 48 games in his second NHL season in 2020-21. Kakko was selected 2nd overall in the 2019 NHL Entry Draft and had ten goals with 13 assists in 66 games as an 18-year-old rookie in 2019-20. He had his best season yet in 2022-23, scoring 18 goals with 22 assists without missing a game at the age of 21.
