The 6-foot-4, 208-pound defenseman who was selected fourth overall in the first round of the 2013 NHL Entry Draft played his first NHL game on his 19th birthday, a 4-2 loss to the St. Louis Blues at Scottrade Center in St. Louis, MO. Foreshadowing a career that has seen him grow into one of the NHL's top two-way defensemen, Jones was plus-2 in his debut.

Jones played two and a half seasons for Nashville, five and a half for the Columbus Blue Jackets, and is now in his first season starring for the Chicago Blackhawks.
