Howard was wearing this jersey when she scored the 20th point of her PHF career in a four-point game on January 21, 2023 against the Connecticut Whale at Canlan Sport in North York, ON. She started with an assist on a goal by Breanne Wilson-Bennett before reaching the scoring milestone with an unassisted goal at 18:29 of the first period. She repeated the feat in the second period, assisting on another Wilson-Bennett goal before scoring her second goal of the game at 18:39 of the second, this time assisted by Wilson-Bennett. The Six went on to win the game 7-4.
Howard wore this jersey the next day, also against the Connecticut Whale at home in North York, when she scored the 15th goal of her PHF career. She scored Toronto's only goal of the game at 8:27 of the third period, assisted by Kati Tabin and Lindsay Eastwood.
Howard scored 16 regular season goals during her debut Premier Hockey Federation campaign, finishing third in the league, and also finished fifth in the league with 26 points. She posted four multi-goal games, was constantly one of the league's most entertaining players to watch and was perhaps its deadliest finisher.
The Six finished second in the league with a 19-4-1 regular season record. In the Isobel Cup Semifinals, they came back from a 1-0 series deficit after losing Game 1 to the Connecticut Whale in captivating fashion. Emma Woods' game-winning goal in overtime in Game 2 kept the team's season alive. After a 3-0 victory in Game 3, the Six defeated the upstart Minnesota Whitecaps in the 2023 Isobel Cup Final in a see-saw battle punctuated by Tereza Vanisova's overtime snipe.
