Kevin Dineen wore this green jersey while playing for the Hartford Whalers during the 1987-1988 National Hockey League season.

Dineen scored 25 goals with 25 assists in 1987-88 as a 24-year-old in his fourth NHL season. He spent 12 seasons with the Whalers/Hurricanes franchise, scoring 250 goals with 294 assists. In a total of 1,188 games over 19 seasons, he scored 355 goals with 405 assists.

The son of a former NHL player and coach (Bill Dineen) and the brother of NHL'ers Peter and Gord Dineen, Kevin Dineen has also enjoyed an esteemed coaching career. He coached the Florida Panthers to their first Southeast Division title in 2012, coached Team Canada's women's team to its fourth consecutive Gold Medal in the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympic Games, and won the Stanley Cup as an assistant for the Chicago Blackhawks in 2015.

The jersey exhibits black marks, board burns, paint transfer and pilling as evidence of use. This jersey will include a MeiGray Letter of Authenticity.
