De Sousa was also wearing this jersey the next days when she scored her first PHF goal on November 6, 2023, also at Northtown Center. De Sousa's goal was the first of the game for the Force at 2:26 of the second period, and it was assisted by Jade Downie-Landry and Catherine Dubois.
The Force wore their black jerseys in six games from November 5, 2022 through February 26, 2023.
The Force established a hard-nosed team identity in its first season of existence, allowing three or fewer goals in 17 of 24 games and also serving over 200 PIMs. Despite missing the playoffs, the Force only lost back-to-back games three times all year and defeated every team in the league at least once.
