Daoust, Catherine
White Set 1 w/A - First PHF Game in Quebec
Montreal Force 2022-23
#12 Size: LG

Catherine Daoust wore this white jersey while playing for the Montreal Force during the 2022-23 Premier Hockey Federation season, the Force's Inaugural Season in the league. It includes the alternate captain's "A."

Daoust, a 2023 PHF All-Star selection, wore this jersey during the first PHF game ever played in Quebec, a 5-3 victory over the Metropolitan Riveters at Verdun Auditorium in Montreal, QC.

The Force established a hard-nosed team identity in its first season of existence, allowing three or fewer goals in 17 of 24 games and also serving over 200 PIMs. Despite missing the playoffs, the Force only lost back-to-back games three times all year and defeated every team in the league at least once.

The Montreal Force wore their White Set 1 jerseys from November 26, 2022 through March 5, 2023 for a total of 15 games.

The Force's jerseys feature an eye-catching fleur-de-lis motif integrated into both the crest and striping. Its colors take inspiration from the Montreal Maroons, paying homage to hockey's history in Montreal and the province of Quebec. The "F" crest is particularly significant as well with its top point serving as an arrow pointing forward as a tribute to the momentum of women's hockey in Canada and around the world.
