They swept the Los Angeles Kings in the first round of the 2018 Stanley Cup Playoffs, defeated the San Jose Sharks in the Western Conference Semifinals in six games and won the Western Conference Championship over the Winnipeg Jets in five games before finally falling to the Washington Capitals in five games in the Stanley Cup Final.
