Martin Brodeur wore this red jersey while playing for the New Jersey Devils during the 2011-12 National Hockey League season and the 2012 Stanley Cup Playoffs. Brodeur set two NHL playoff career records while wearing this jersey.

The first occurred on April 19, 2012 during the Devils' seven-game first-round triumph over the Florida Panthers. The shutout in Game 4 at Prudential Center in Newark, NJ, was Brodeur's 24th career Stanley Cup Playoffs shutout, the most all-time. That moved him past Patrick Roy, who had 23.

Brodeur set his second post-season record on May 21, 2012 at Prudential Center. In a 4-1 victory over the New York Rangers in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals, Brodeur recorded his fourth assist of the 2012 Playoffs.

Six times a goalie had recorded three assists in a Stanley Cup season. The four assists gave Brodeur 12 career playoff assists, and one playoff goal. Brodeur finished his career second all-time among goaltenders with 13 post-season points. Hall of Famer Grant Fuhr holds the NHL record with 14 post-season points.

Brodeur rewrote the record books for NHL goalies during his 22-year career, finishing with 691 wins, 125 shutouts and 28,928 saves in 1,266 games, all far and away all-time records.
