Mathew Barzal wore this white jersey while playing for the Seattle Thunderbirds during the 2014-2015 Western Hockey League season.

Barzal was wearing this jersey when he scored the first goal of the game on February 6, 2015 against the Portland Winterhawks at the ShoWare Center in Kent, WA. The goal came less than a minute and a half into the game, with assists by Roberts Lipsbergs and Evan Wardley. The Thunderbirds would keep up the pace, defeating the Winterhawks by a score of 5-3.

Barzal was also wearing this jersey the next day when he contributed a goal and an assist on February 7, 2015 against the Vancouver Giants, again at home in Kent, WA. Barzal's first point of the game came as an assist on the opening goal of the game, a power play goal scored by Cory Millette at 2:03 of the second period. That goal would stand as the game-winner, as the T-Birds went on to shut out their opponent. In the third period, Barzal made sure there would be no comeback, tallying his ninth of the season on assists from Wardley and Lipsbergs.

During the 2014-15 season, Mathew Barzal was second in scoring on the Seattle Thunderbirds with 12 goals and 45 assists in only 44 games. In six games in the WHL Playoffs, he scored four goals and added four assists, tying for second on the team in scoring as the T-Birds fell in the Conference Quarterfinals. Less than three months later, he was drafted in the first round of the 2015 NHL Entry Draft, sixteenth overall, by the New York Islanders.
