The Flyers honored Snider on what would have been his 91st birthday as a key builder for the franchise. A 1988 Hockey Hall of Fame inductee and a 1989 Philadelphia Flyers Hall of Fame inductee, Snider was the majority owner of the Flyers for nearly 30 years, and oversaw the Flyers' back-to-back championships in 1974 and 1975.
