Allison was wearing this jersey when he took part in the second fight of his NHL career on February 24, 2023 against the Montreal Canadiens at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, PA. When Alex Belzile of the Canadiens checked Scott Laughton into the boards from behind, Allison immediately came over to make his displeasure known. Both players dropped the gloves quickly and Belzile got into a tight spot off the draw with an arm over Allison's shoulder. This allowed Allison to pull Belzile by both the front and back of the jersey and keep him off balance. As the bout turned into more of a grappling match than a fight, Allison got in several blows and forced Belzile into the boards, eventually leveraging him down to the ice. Allison received seventeen penalty minutes for the interaction.
